Super Secret Project Revealed, Part Deux

Well, my dad got his gift today. I am SO excited. He opened it while we were on the phone and, while he is not a really demonstrative or vocal guy, I think he was pleased. Of course I am missing pix of his 1971 Harley-Davidson FLH and a Mercury Monterey he owned, but I can get those from him and put them in. In general I am very pleased with myself.

So, Dad, Happy Birthday! I hope you had a great day, and that you know just how much we all love you. We haven't always gotten along, and I know you wonder sometimes how you could have spawned such a liberal daughter, but you truly are the man I admire most -- you stand up for your principles, you have tremendous integrity, and you are a wonderful grandpa to my little boys, who love their "Papa Dave" more than anything. I love you, too.

The entire album is posted in my gallery at Scrapjazz. you can see it here. If you stop in to look, leave me a comment or two so I know you were there!

    Hi Jennifer,
So I finaly made it here-to" Jenniferland", it's way better that Disneyland; no lines, fits my budget and best of all you don't pretend to be a stupid pink frilly princess!
I'm glad to hear your Dad was pleased. Ya' know sometimes we just have to get really mushy with them so they have no choice but to break down and tell us everything they've been keeping to themselves for the past...30years!!! All there with ya' friend.

    Hi Kiddo!,
It is very cool! I took the album to work today and everyone loved it; Even Marcia who doen't always say much told me to tell you that you are very talented! I got several of the "Is that you?" comments and I had to admit that it was.
I'll have to find a picture of the FLH (did you know that 1971 was the last year that Harleys were manufactured and assembled in Milwaukee?) and the '54 Merc and get them to you in some form.

    Many thanks.

    Love,
    Dad
