We are off this morning to a car show at Santa Cruz. "Woodies on the Wharf" is an annual show that celebrates cars and surf culture. (In case you didn't know, Santa Cruz has a huge rivalry with Huntington Beach over which city is THE "Surf City." H'Beach recently trademarked the name for itself, but true surfers say the surf craze started in Santa Cruz and that that's where the REAL waves are.)
Surf City or not, that's where we're headed. It's supposed to be cool on that side of the hill, but we packed the wetsuits and we're off. I'll report back Monday or Tuesday and with any luck I'll have figured out the photo thing by then so I can add a picture or two.
