Okay, you know about the scrapping. My folks just left yesterday and now I have 300 (yes, that's right, folks) photos to scrap just from their visit. I am doing an album for my mom and dad at a crop tonight. Boys' night in at our house -- woo hoo!

Bitching and moaning, you ask? Well, I am keeping this short in the hopes that I will stop being so incredibly pissed about this and be able to form coherent sentences and tell certain people on the planet to FUCK OFF. Basically I am against this bullshit war we are fighting and I think our president is a complete idiot. Be grateful I haven't used the REAL words I think to myself about him daily. Your brain would be on fire right now. Anyway, I am also a veteran of the United States Army. And YES I support our troops. I organized our church (not a Christian church, just in case you're wondering) and sent about 15 boxes to servicemembers overseas. I believe in them, I believe they are doing the right and honorable thing in serving our country, and I honor the fact that most of them WANT to be doing exactly what they're doing. That doesn't mean that I believe in our president and it sure as hell doesn't mean I don't want our troops to come home breathing, not in body bags.
So who is doing the bitching and moaning? Well, I came across a blog of a military veteran (served in Iraq) who basically says that since I don't agree with the president, obviously I don't support the troops and clearly I have no right to be here. I guess he missed the whole free speech part of the Constitution he swore to protect and defend against all enemies, foreign and domestic.
So I am bitching and moaning: leave me alone! You keep your beliefs, take your own stand, state your case. You are more than welcome for my service and its small part in allowing you those freedoms.
But don't you DARE impugn me or imply that
because I disagree with my government I
possess less intelligence, am less of a person,
or less of a patriot, than you.
Fuck you for even having the unmitigated gall to think any of that.
Rant over for today. I reserve the right to come back to this topic at any time and use the REAL language I wanted to.
