Pippa

It was a pug. Not a "turpugkey" or any of the other things that had me laughing out loud. Vivian -- the luau had me cracking up. I once had a cocker spaniel that we threatened to stir fry regularly -- as in , "Wok the dog." She knew what a wok is, so she always retreated.

This is Pippa. She is from a shelter in Arkansas and we picked her up yesterday. According to the vet, she is about 3 and was most likely a breeder at a puppy mill. She has a great disposition and seems to be adjusting well, although it will be nice to have her comfortable with the whole family, since right now she thinks of me as her own personal heated massage pillow.

The boys are happy (they have a dog), the mama is happy (she got to pick the dog AND it's a rescue), the daddy says, "Sure, they're great for a few years, but then they DIE."

Little Mary Sunshine he is not.

  1. Congratulation on the new family member! and Welcome to Pugdom! I don't remember if you mentioned that you had a pug before, in any case I'm sure you've found a few funnies with pugs already. a Luau to start off :-)

Pippa is a beautiful name. Glad one of my friends is sharing the pug germs:-) As you've probably noticed, I'm just crazy about pugs.

Look at that mug on that pug!!!

I just want to eat her up...but in a "she's so cute way," not roasted over an open fire way.
