Small world

My friend Teresa is a native Hoosier. I met her in 1989 while we were both in the Army. Uncle Sam and her current job have taken her far and wide across the globe, but Indiana is home for her without question.

My friend Rhonda is a Hoosier who was transplanted to Minnesota in 1996 (or thereabouts). In 2000 she moved to Texas with her husband and daughter.

Rhonda reads my blog (bless her, she's one of the 7!) and she emailed me today asking if Teresa had been involved in a student organization in high school.

And it turns out that Rhonda knew Teresa way back when. No word yet on whether or not Teresa remembers Rhonda, but wow.

The world works in funny ways, and the internet is a really cool thing sometimes.

It is interesting how many people crawl out of the woodwork once you start blogging!

  2. Isn't it weird??? I need to see a photo of her or get her last name. I remember the Rah, Rah part, but having trouble with a face. I am sure I would remember her with more to go on. My mind is getting weaker, but I was very involved in FHA and met so many great girls and guys.

Teresa, one of the 7 :)

  3. Wild. I was a Hoosier for a few years. I went to Ball State for three semesters. My grandparents live in Muncie so I've spent lots of time there. Nice state!
