Update:
Spence = stomach virus
Me = doctor visit, waiting for strep results (which I suspect will be negative, meaning there is not a damn thing I can do for this sore throat)
The War = 4 years of throwing blood and money at a problem that wasn't ours to begin with and should never have been made ours, especially by wild exaggeration and fearmongering
Seriously, that makes me sicker than the other 2 things combined.
