How on earth did that happen? Wasn't he just born? Seriously. And he starts kindergarten in the fall.
And on this lovely Memorial Day weekend, we have a flurry of activities planned:
* planting all of my beautiful annuals in the giant pots I bought recently
* working tomorrow morning at the garage sale I am doing with my friend Susan (who is selling much more stuff and working much harder than I am)
* taking the last few photos for a photo scavenger hunt I am participating in. I will post the pix soon
* possibly Freecycling stuff left over from the garage sale
* hanging out at a friend's pool
* planting the veggies in the garden and installing rabbit fencing. I feel like Elmer Fudd: "Kill the wabbit! Kill the wabbit!" Good fences make good neighbors.
* drinking rhubarb margaritas. Once the recipe is tweaked properly I'll post it. YUM.
* painting the rocks from my parents' hobby farm in North Dakota with vegetables to be used as garden markers. I'll take pix of those too. Sooooo cute.
And if you're the praying type, put a word in for my friend K. We have been around the block a few times together and she is having a rough time of it right now. Much appreciated.
Have a great weekend.
Hey! I sold the pink flower things this afternoon! :)
ReplyDeleteI would have sworn I was the only person I knew who would even try, much less enjoy, a rhubarb margarita. I can't wait for your recipe.
