Ready to go

The boys and I packed the camper today. Funny how all that stuff comes back. It is so organized -- and of course, everything is color-coordinated. Yeah, I know. Camping. Whatever. I enjoy camping, but I enjoy it more if everything is pretty. So sue me.

Rob was just packing his duffel bag and turned around to find the following scene.




Apparently Pippa is determined not to be forgotten! LOL

Of course, she has her food dishes, a stake and a tie-out in the camper already, and we got the A/C for her, so she'll be joining us.

We're going to a campground about 20 miles away with lots of fun activities and I will be back next week with a full report.

    Our dog Georgi used to lay down near packed bags, trying to look very bag-like, whenever we were preparing to go on a trip! Thanks for reminding me of a happy memory!

    Hope Pippa has a nice time!

    On a side note, I see Bill Clinton there behind her on the bookshelf. This weekend I ate at the same ice cream parlor that the former Prez and the Senator from NY did! (of course, it was a two days later, but that hardly matters now does it??)
