First day of school
My older two have been bickering and fighting nonstop lately. I was so relieved to send them out the door this morning. The bus was only a couple of minutes late, too. (I am sure it will be *really* late on Thursday afternoon when Spencer gets on for his first day of PM kindergarten.)
Rob also left for school today -- he has a week long residency for his Executive MBA. Here he is at the dining room table this morning, getting ready to go.
So what have I been doing all day? Laundry, general picking up after having company this weekend (it wasn't bad, actually), getting the garbage and recycling ready to go. Lots of recycling after having a houseful! I also went through a bunch of papers that have been taking over my house. They are not all under control yet, but it is a sight better than it was! My goal is to have them sorted, shredded, paid, or tossed by Friday. There are quite a few things that will have to be filed but I will leave that for Rob since he has a system.
Back to the laundry grind for me -- oh -- and a half hour with Spencer on the Wii. I promised.
