Wishing for a Christmas Miracle

A couple from my hometown are here in Rochester right now. They are a little older than I am, but I knew of them in high school. They are sitting in a hospital room in the famous Mayo Clinic with their young daughter Megan. It's been a week since Megan got sick. Ten days ago she was fine- now she has an inoperable malignant tumor on her brain stem.

The family will be staying in town for a while to get Megan some treatment. They put their names on the waiting list for a room at the Ronald McDonald house. I went to the hospital today and let them know they could call me if there was anything I could do for them.

It sounds trite, but this family has already seen more than its share of tragedy.

Prayers, good wishes, positive thoughts, and anything else you may have at your disposal are needed right now. Thank you.
