Personality is hard wired

Spence's kindergarten teacher sent home a binder today with a page for each kindergartner (WHY does that word look wrong no matter how I spell it? is it kindergartener? argh.) and his or her big buddy or buddies.

Garrett's class happens to be the big buddies for Spencer's class. Appropriate, I guess, since 5 of the kids in G's class have siblings in the K class.

Each page of information about the kinder student was accompanied by a photo of the student and buddy/ies. They cracked me up so much I scanned them, cropped out the other kids, and I am posting them here. Sorry for the crappy scans but between my scanner's issues and the page protectors I was too lazy to remove, it's what you get.

Ha. Nature vs. nurture? I always thought it was nurture. When I became a parent, it became apparent to me that nature wins. Every time. LOL
