We made it.
It's a strange feeling; I don't have anything to do.
I mean, there is stuff I could do; I always have a list. But there is nothing I have to do right now. The packing is done, the errands run, the gifts and drycleaning and the million little details are past.
Rob is at the airport, and I am at home, and it is quiet.
I'm a little sick to my stomach. I think it's just the post-adrenaline rush. We have been crazed for a month here. March has not been a pleasant month.
And now, the waiting begins.
Two years ago this month, Rob was writing essays and filling out the application for his MBA program. Just 2 years.
And here we are, at the culmination. After this trip there are 2 weekends of class left.
He worked so hard. He made it.
We made it.
And it feels so good.
Rob will be updating and hopefully sending pictures periodically. I will post them as I receive them.
And if you're checking in here, honey, have a wonderful trip. I am so proud of you.
Homestretch!!
