Cranky...

I am tired today.

Tired of Karl Rove. He is the devil.

Tired of the dumbass we have in the White House who still insists on linking Iraq and the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks, even though there is absolutely no connection.

Tired of people dying in Iraq. For some insight on that, check out the link to Paint It Black on the left. It is not pretty, but it IS real. I suggest the entries from the past few days, esp. the 27th. You have to go back a few more days to find the whole story -- the entries right now are flashbacks to a year ago. The one on the 27th is powerful stuff. Not for the faint-hearted or those who can't appreciate the way a military type can cuss. Honestly, we can do it better than everybody. The freakin' military invents new ways to cuss daily, I swear. LOL

Tired of people who claim to be Christians but who in fact are the most intolerant judgmental people I have ever encountered.

Tired of people who tell breastfeeding mothers they should nurse their babies in the bathroom. Somebody gave me a great response to that idea today (thanks deltascrapper), "A child must eat, and if you don't eat in the bathroom or with a towel over your head, neither will my child. "

My response to those people was to tell them that breasts are for feeding children. The fact that our culture has turned them into something dirty and shameful is not my problem. Look the other way.

Tired of my granite kitchen countertops that are always dirty and icky no matter how hard I try to keep them clean. Never will I have granite again. It sucks. I will have Formica -- even though it is not cool. Or maybe solid surface. I love my Formica countertops in Minnesota. Take that, interior decorating fashion police.

Tired of complaining. I'm going to watch "Fairly Oddparents" with my kids. Wish I had some Lik-a-Stik candy to go along with mindless cartoons....

I'm leaving you with a line stolen from "Fairly Oddparents." Timmy, the main character, has an evil babysitter named Vicky. "Remember, you can't spell Vicky without 'icky'."

I just feel icky. No more Paint It Black for a couple of days. That guy rips my guts out.
