Yes, it's today. I'm posting this at 2:00 am Central time, which is when I was born. (You're welcome, Mom) LOL.
And it is also my anniversary -- 10 spectacular years with my awesome husband, Rob.
Yes, I got married on my birthday. No, I am not nuts. I was thinking diamonds.
We are off to San Francisco for the afternoon. Missed Chinatown last weekend, so we're hitting it this time around. Who knows what other amazing sights we'll see?
And I have a birthday wish. Yes, to all of my friends and loyal readers (I heard a rumor there are, like, 6 now LOL) -- my birthday wish is that if you read this post you post a comment for me. It doesn't have to say happy birthday -- in fact, you can tell me I'm a wretched bitch and you wish you'd never met me, but at least post the friggin' comment so I know you've been here, okay?
Thank you.
I am posting, as per birthday wish. I read your blog as part of the SJ webring . It is so much fun to hear about what other SJers are doing in their own corners of the world.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday.
Happy Anniversary.
And good thinking with the diamond thing!

Happy Birthday, Wonderful Daughter! Yes, thanks for the "nod" - you were born at exactly 2:00 a.m. and I was awake today at 2:00 a.m. also. I'll call you later this morning cuz I want to know if you like your birthday present. Thanks for the Memories, Sweetie! Love, Mom

ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday! I was thinking earlier of gifting you with a Curious George doll, but I decided to scrap that idea. Have a fabulous trip to SF! Miss you in Rochester, but I'm glad you have this blog so I still get regular unique "Jenniferisms". Kristine
Happy Birthday and Happy Anniversary! And belated Happy Birthday to JoAnn as well from a fellow knitter. My husband and I got married on his birthday, so you are not nuts, not the only one anyway. It's been great fun reading your blog for the whole past four days :-) We will sure miss you when you move back.

ReplyDeleteI don't think it's crazy to get married on your birthday...what an awesome gift to give your husband, he only has to remember one important date. Of course if he forgets that 'one' date, well then...that's another story entirely.
Have a happy, happy birthday and an awesome anniversary!
Melissa
