Awake

Just awake. Mulling over the insanity that was Grey's Anatomy tonight.

I don't really care about Desperate Housewives anymore -- they have ventured too far into the soap-opera type craziness that I just don't appreciate most days. But GA? Well, the show is SO not about the medicine. It's so character driven. I never did watch ER (and OMG can I just say I was appalled that it is still on the air? Does anyone actually still WATCH it?) because I couldn't take the gut-wrenching stuff. Then I watch tonight. This gut-wrenching, jaw-dropping, tear-jerking, breath-taking episode. And thus I am awake. At midnight, which is SO not my style.

But Meredith, Derek, Addison, Cristina, Izzie, Alex, and George are my friends now. Especially since my other friends -- the entire cast of politicos, wonks, and uber-nerds in The West Wing -- are gone. Hey, what can I say? Apparently I like head cases. Or I am one. Or, most probably, both.

I must say here that even if George IS her McDreamy, I hate Dr. Calli Torres. Phphphphphpphpbbbbbbbbbbbb ...... (that is me blowing a raspberry). She is a pain in the ass. George, MOVE ON. Please.

Izzie and Denny? I am heartbroken for her. But I have to say that jerk Karev came on like a hero and made me think he is perhaps not pond scum after all.

McDreamy? Pond scum. Seriously. That doesn't mean I don't want him and Meredith together, but amends must be made first. Pond scum.

McVet? Well, his name is Finn -- that is seriously a cool name. And I am liking him right now in spite of myself, so we'll see.

Cristina and Burke? They'll be okay. They are the least of my worries.

And George finally stepped up and admitted he had a role in the Meredith breaks George's heart drama. Finally. Good man. Now dump that stupid ortho doc!

As you can see this is merely my brain working things out. I have absolutely nothing of worth to put out there so I am closing my little blog up for the night. Your comments are welcome.
