May I have your attention, please?

I have a friend who used to read this blog regularly. I loved that she did, because she complimented me on my writing and always gave me an ego boost. Her opinion means a lot to me.

But she moved away -- far away -- just before I moved back to Minnesota.

I know very little about what her life must be now, where she is. I don't know if she has internet access regularly (or ever), I don't know what her days are like, although since she is in a country where women must be veiled in public and where they may not drive, I imagine that her independent spirit feels a little cooped up.

I know she has a strong husband who must be happy to be in his native land, and 3 gorgeous sons who are probably looking and sounding like natives instead of transplants.

I think about her often and I hope she is well. Others ask me if I have heard from her -- apparently she spread the word of this little blog far and wide. And somebody asked if I would put a little note on here, just in case she is reading.
