Git 'er done!

I have accomplished much over the past few days. It is amazing what you can do when you have a few hours and some prep time.

There have been multiple scrap projects that I have been putting off. For some I needed to have the photos printed. For one I needed a new font but I didn't know where to find it. For an anniversary book I needed to scan in a bunch of cards and print them small enough to fit in the book. For one I needed to do a reduced size copy. Piddly stuff that was all in the way of getting thses things off my plate. I am not on a design team, but I commit myself to collaborative projects and then I have "assignments" just like a DT member. Deadlines and the works. I enjoy it, but as I said, simply not having the time to get the prep work done was stressing me out.

Rob and the boys were visiting family over the weekend so I spent much of Saturday getting all those things done. I didn't accomplish much actual scrapping, but I knew I had made progress.

On Monday Spence and I went to register him for kindergarten. (Mixed feelings on that one.) We got some stuff in the mail, we dropped a couple of those woven throws at the dry cleaners (apparently Pippa likes to pee on soft things... *rolleyes*), and just ran around.

Yesterday we did more running (this time to find materials for Evan's school production) and in the afternoon I actually cleaned my scrap room and scrapped. Miraculous.

Today? Another trip to the Post Office to mail off my completed projects, and a trip to the doc for Spence. He is still blissfully unaware that at 11:20 he will be presented to the nurse for his immunizations. Can't say I'm sorry that it's the last time I'll have to take a kid in for 4 or 5 shots. Cripes. I think we'll go out for lunch with Daddy, though, and he has school this afternoon, so with any luck the day won't be too traumatic.

I can't post my cards or layouts yet but soon ... I am so happy with them. And if there are any scrappers out there who would be interested in a Circle Journal, leave a comment. I am percolating an idea for one -- never done one before -- and I'd like to see if there is any interest. Anyone is welcome, regardless of what you think your skill level is ... I don't produce "publishable" layouts, but I enjoy it. Those are the only requirements so far.*smile*

Have a good day, everybody.

    What's a circle journal?

Glad you're getting stuff done...that gives me hope. And hope is a good thing.
