Jerry Falwell died
So at dinner tonight my husband and I drank to the existence of Hell and Jerry's immediate admission.
LOL My first thought was, "It's about damn time." I know, I'm horrible, but the world would be better off without someone like him in it. Whose next? Robertson or Swaggart? God is SO gonna strike me down with lightening while I'm waiting for the bus this afternoon. =:-O
Since I don't know him nor family members personally, I am ambivalent about his demise. No happiness, no great sadness...not much emotion at all really, regarding this.
What remains to be seen is if his brand of Holier Than Thou will die with him, or if there's just another "Holy" person out there waiting to take his place.
I thought it was funny too, Jennifer!
ReplyDeleteOh and my blog has moved to Blogspot. Sick of paying $9 a month to house it at typepad.
Just wanted to let you know.

ReplyDeleteOn the news last night they were showing people in San Francisco "celebrating" Jerry's exit.

I have no clue who this guy is, but it cracks me up that you drank to his death.
