dinner tonight at some friends' -- and the kids are sleeping over there so we will be kid free for the evening.
Tomorrow, a little shopping sans kids in the morning is planned, along with a day trip to the campsite we were at 2 weekends ago for more cousin time.
Sunday ... well, who knows what it will bring?
The weather is still gorgeous and the garden is calling (actually screaming -- can you hear it?) to me to come and finish the weeding. Yikes. But the balloon flowers and the daisies are up in the flower bed in back, the fuchsia looks gorgeous out front, and once again I realize I may never be able to leave this house because I love the yard so very much in the height of summer when it's all green and overgrown and slightly wild-looking.
Last thing -- congrats to my mother-in-law, JoAnn, whose last day of work was today. Yes, folks, she's officially retired now. I wonder how soon she can come to watch the kids so Rob and I can get away? LOL

Thank you, yes I actually did retire today with a nice luncheon, gifts and phone calls, and guests, very nice day. You know I would love to spend time with the boys so you call it.....Sounds like you are having fun with all the kids down there. I am already packed for my first trip, only to Fargo for a wedding but am planning on staying till Thursday. Wish my flowers were doing as good. I need someone to weed...Have a good weekend.
