On a cold winter night 12 years ago I laughed and cried and made a forever promise. Tonight I sat at my dining room table with 3 little boys and my husband, laughing and eating chocolate cake with buttercream frosting. They sang "Happy Birthday" and I got a corner (all that yummy frosting!) and I could hardly believe that 12 years ago I couldn't have imagined them -- yet tonight I can't imagine my life without them.
A wonderful birthday, and an even more wonderful anniversary, knowing that I would do it all again in a minute, and so would he. I am so grateful for all that we have built together.
