Dreaming
It's still cool today, although it's sunny. Evan's soccer game was fun but it was 40 degrees and windy so it could have been more enjoyable.
The tree above is a jacaranda. I first saw them in Hawaii and I was gobsmacked. They are insanely beautiful.
Imagine my delight when I first landed in San Jose and discovered these beautiful trees at the airport and downtown, in full bloom.
I just needed a little shot of summer, and a reminder that someday it will be warm. Right now I am going to crawl under a quilt with a book and a cup of tea.
