Rob graduated on Monday from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. He received his MBA and we had a great day.
This is inside Northrop Auditorium on the U of M campus as the Executive MBA candidates (Rob's class) were filing in.
Here is Rob shaking hands after receiving his diploma. We will get the official pix from the U in a week or two.
Here's Rob with his mom, JoAnn, at the reception after the ceremony.
And Rob with his brother Dan and his wife MariLou (affectionately known as Woo in the family).
A miracle photograph, with everyone's eyes open, all looking in the same general direction, and no one making a goofy face or obscene gesture. LOL
And one of the team who did it together. At both the graduation celebration a couple of weeks ago and at the ceremony on Monday they acknowledged the families' hard work and sacrifices over the past 2 years. I know Rob had the really hard stuff but it was nice that they recognized that the spouses and kids make their own contributions in getting to the commencement ceremony. :)
At any rate, he is done. I am supremely proud of him, not only for getting through it, but for making the decision to pursue an advanced degree at all. I know he didn't enter into this lightly and to see the knowledge and confidence he has gained from this program is really wonderful.
Congrats Rob!
