My friend Teresa and I are both turning 40 this year. And no, I have no idea how that happened.
To mark the year, Teresa started a new blog, The Turning 40 Project. And I wondered what I could do to make it a positive year and inspire growth in myself.
I started a scrapbook last year, a Book of Me, and I intend to continue adding to that book throughout the coming year. I also wanted to celebrate this year in another way and a Facebook and blog friend invited me to Project 365. Voila, the perfect thing - a daily record of the people, places and things that are important to me and make up my year. Of course, the motivation to learn to use my camera even more and expand my photography skills is a nice side benefit of this project.
Since I am using it as a look back on my life so far, part of my Book of Me will focus on my friend Kris and the story of my time with her in November, both to honor her and to document her importance in my life.
I will be looking back, but I am also looking forward.
I am cautiously optimistic. 2010 has a lot of potential - I would be honored to have you along on the journey.
We are still 18 and super hot!!!! Army boys are falling all over us! I will be excited to follow your Project 365. XO
