I mentioned before my friend Cara has been sending me cards for my 40th. I thought we were done with this, but today I got another one, bringing the count up to 32. She actually lost count of how many she's sent, so this update is both to show off the pile of cards and to let her know where she's at. LOL
Not only have the cards been funny, but the notes inside of them have been great -- reminiscing about times we spent together, old jokes, off-color stories, and whimsical questions about where I want my life to go and what I want it to be in my 40s.
What a tremendous gift of friendship and love. I am overwhelmed by it every day.
You rock, my friend. Really.
