I am sobbing right now. I held up pretty well all day, but the ABC News broadcast got to me. What a tremendous man. I looked up to him as a role model when I was a broadcaster. I pray people will be inspired by him, follow his legacy, and take it upon themselves to continue his brand of journalism-- passionate about learning, continuously amazed at the new things happening in the world, committed to excellence and to communicating world events to people in a way that made them understand why it was important to them.
What a tough day. I hope his family is feeling the prayers and love that people all over the world are sending their way.

Peace, Peter.

Dear Jennifer: I know how sad you are and you are right - Peter Jennings was the "ultimate broadcast journalist" and will be hard, if not impossible, to replace. I haven't yet watched last night's ABC News broadcast, but will get to it tonite. Hang in there and we'll see you soon! Love you lots, Mom
