Happy Monday

We went through the kids' clothes from storage last night. Spencer has enough summer clothes for 3 kids. Hand-me-downs are a good thing. And, since I purged duplicate items and stuff that was stained, it is all in great shape.
Evan had a few things that still fit. A couple of pairs of shorts and some T-shirts.
Garrett? Garrett had nothing. The kid has grown so much in the last year. My mom bought each of the boys a summer outfit at Easter, but that's all poor Garrett has. So there will be some clothes shopping in our future, although not right now. I guess I neglected to mention that we had $400 of repairs done on the van last week. Puts a bit of a cramp in one's style.
The spare bedroom in the basement is much closer to being suitable for guests. We still have a lot of the oak-framed family pictures that go back generations to hang in the stairway (that arrangement being known as either the "wall of shame" or the "wall of blame").
It's cloudy and cool today -- we got a little rain earlier and the weather is perfect for that grass seed I've scattered all over the lawn to germinate and take root.
Thinking green and growing thoughts today.
Have a good week, everybody.
