-- when a friend calls to give you a recipe you left a message about and you haven't talked to each other in forever and you get the recipe and you start talking just like you're in the same room and you have barely started to catch up on her family and your family and remembering all the fun times you spent together and you have not even begun to talk about your kids who were toddlers at the time and now all of a sudden they're in middle school, for pete's sake -- sometimes, it really sucks to have to hang up the phone to talk to your husband who suddenly has an out-of-town meeting tonight.
Just sayin'.
