Pickles ... part deux
I was mistaken. It's 4 days. Argh. Yesterday and today I had to boil the sugar and vinegar syrup with the rinds. This is what they look like after day 2 and as I put them on the stove for day 3.
Hope the effort is worthwhile. Someday I'm gonna can something. I did make my own freezer jam earlier this year. It's a good and easy thing for first timers. You can use frozen fruit from the grocery to make it even easier on yourself.
I have never heard of these. I assume they are good since you are spending 4 days making them.
